2027 Alma
Orbea Alma · XC Hardtail · Available in Singapore
Pure Essence
Just you and the trail. A pure connection. Remember when riding was this simple? A 1,080 g frame, X-Fader compliance and 2.4" clearance — feather-light, lightning-quick, and arguably the most sensible fast bike you can own on this island.
The bike
No other bike gives you a purer connection to the trail
With Alma, performance becomes an obsession you feel in your body and soul. Feather-light. Lightning-quick. Packed with technology to let you take it further and faster — but without losing the directness that makes a hardtail feel alive underneath you.
Sold, built and serviced in Singapore by CANNASIA, the official Orbea distributor. We think the Alma is quietly the smartest fast bike for our conditions: our trails are technical rather than brutal, and a hardtail has far fewer bearings for year-round humidity to destroy. Less time in the workshop, more time riding.

Three reasons it rides the way it does
Pure feel, less fatigue
Tube profiles, materials and X-Fader working together to absorb the chatter.
01 · Pure feel, less fatigue
Absorb the chatter, keep the connection
Careful control of tube profiles and materials, matched to X-Fader technology, helps absorb the trail chatter that quietly adds up to fatigue on long rides. Hardtails have always been pure — the trick was keeping that purity without the buzz.
A few millimetres of precisely tuned compliance
Enough to smooth the trail. Not enough to dull the bike.
02 · X-Fader
A micro damper, built into the shape of the frame
Acting as a micro damper, the shaped seat tube is engineered to absorb energy-sapping vibrations and impacts, so you can ride harder, faster and farther. It is not just about comfort — it is about staying sharp and in control when it matters most.

Just enough flex, in just the right place
The magic is in the balance — enough vertical flex to smooth out the trail, without compromising the explosive acceleration and razor-sharp handling that makes a hardtail worth riding in the first place.

Proven in the lab and on the trail
Prototypes were tested in Orbea’s laboratory then refined by trail-testing with their riders. Thousands of kilometres went into dialling it in. The result is a few millimetres of precisely tuned compliance.
Cutting-edge design, high-performance materials
An optimised rear triangle and Powerspine, balancing weight against absorption.
03 · Cutting-edge design, high-performance materials
Fewer watts wasted, more watts delivered
Alma’s advanced frame construction, with its optimised rear triangle and Powerspine design, gives a great balance of weight and vibration absorption. That means fewer watts wasted through fatigue and more watts transferred to the rear wheel.
Painted size medium frame, without hardware. Achieved through Advanced Carbon construction rather than by stripping material out of the places that matter.

Advanced Carbon — 1,080 g
The most technologically advanced carbon construction available, through a complex and meticulous process that results in better riding behaviour. A painted size medium frame without hardware weighs 1,080 grams.

Optimised rear triangle
The flattened shape of the chainstays and seatstays increases vertical compliance, while those same flattened profiles resist lateral flex — so comfort goes up and power transmission improves at the same time.

Powerspine
The lower spine of the frame handles the large majority of torsional and lateral loads, resisting flex and passing more watts to the rear wheel. Instant power transfer means addictive acceleration.
Room for 2.4"
Larger air volume and more contact area mean more grip and a smoother ride.
04 · 2.4" tyre clearance
More air, more grip
Larger air volume and increased contact area mean more grip and a smoother ride. On wet roots and slick rock — which is most of the year here — running a wider tyre at lower pressure is the cheapest performance upgrade there is.
Stable and fast
A 67° head tube for control on the descents, a 75.5° seat tube for the climbs.
05 · Connected hardtail handling
Nimble handling, capable descending
No-compromise geometry puts you in the position to connect with the trail — a mix of quick, nimble handling and genuine capability on the way down, with the added control of the 110 mm fork.

Lower standover
The lower frame height gives more space to move the bike side to side when sprinting or cornering — the sort of thing that shaves seconds off a race lap, and makes the tight stuff at Chestnut easier to thread.

Shorter seat tube
A shorter seat tube leaves more seatpost exposed, which absorbs more than a narrower dropper post in a longer seat tube would. Comfort from geometry rather than from added parts.

110 mm travel fork
Alma’s geometry is designed around a 110 mm fork, hitting the sweet spot between bump absorption and low weight — more capable on the way down without turning it into a trail bike.

Three-position hydraulic fork
Fully open, pedal platform, and firm lockout — selected either through the Squidlock remote or the dial on the fork crown, so you can firm it up for a fire-road drag without stopping.
The sweet spot
110 mm of travel, balanced against low weight.

Alma is full of features that help your ride flow — the sort of thoughtful details you stop noticing precisely because they work.

Integrated cockpit
Cleanest lines, lowest weight, most direct routing.

Easy control with Squidlock
Dropper and fork, both a thumb click away.

Lightweight MP10 dropper
100 mm of infinitely adjustable travel, at 419 g.

Service window
A discreet hatch for easy access to internal cables.

Smart Clips
A bottle cage and a fully inserted dropper, at last.
Cleanest lines, lowest weight
An integrated carbon cockpit at just 265 g.
07 · Clean, lightweight and stiff
One piece, fewer compromises
Integrating the handlebar and stem gives the cleanest lines and the lowest weight, improves steering accuracy, and permits more direct internal cable routing.

Integrated handlebar and stem — 265 g
The integrated carbon cockpit weighs 265 grams and improves SIC integration for up to three cables. Available in 760 mm width with a −17° stem angle in 75 or 90 mm lengths, with an integrated computer mount.

Clean cockpit
The SIC system and HS02 headset allow seamless internal cable routing — which looks good, and also means far less for grit and rain to get into. Worth more here than in most places.
A beautifully clean cockpit
SIC routing and the HS02 headset keep everything inside.
08 · Squidlock
In terms of efficiency, less is more
Dropper and suspension control is just a click away, with everything you need under your thumb rather than requiring you to move your hand mid-descent.

Everything a thumb click away
Two levers let you control a dropper post and the fork without moving your hand from the bars. Compact and reliable, Squidlock integrates with either Shimano or SRAM brake clamps and works with many suspension systems.

Ergonomics for smaller hands
A suspension lever adaptor is included with every Squidlock. The extra surface area greatly reduces the effort needed to reach your suspension lever. Pop it on and go.

09 · The details that matter
Small things, noticed every ride
A discreet hatch on the downtube gives easy access to the cables inside the frame for simple maintenance. And Smart Clips finally solve an old annoyance — they let you attach a bottle cage to the seat tube without metal frame inserts, so a telescopic seatpost can still be fully inserted. They are removable and discreet when not in use.

Light and infinitely adjustable
The MP10 dropper offers 100 mm of travel with full control over saddle height rather than only two fixed positions. The clamp works with all saddle rail systems, and the whole thing weighs just 419 g.

No-compromise geometry
A 67° head tube gives more control on descents and a generous wheelbase for stability, while a 75.5° seat tube improves pedalling dynamics — particularly on steep, punchy climbs.
Service window
Easy access to the cables inside the frame.
Smart Clips
A bottle cage on the seat tube, and a fully inserted dropper.

Ride it here
Quietly the most sensible fast bike on the island
Singapore’s trails are tight, rooty and technical rather than long and brutal. That plays directly to a light hardtail — and a frame with fewer pivots and bearings is a real advantage when it is humid every day of the year.
Chestnut Nature Park
Our only purpose-built MTB trails, and the Alma’s natural home. Tight, rooty and punchy — exactly where a bike that accelerates the instant you stand up pays for itself.
Bukit Timah & Kent Ridge
Technical singletrack and short, sharp climbs. The low standover and quick handling make it easy to move the bike around in the tight stuff.
Ketam, Pulau Ubin
A ferry ride to flowier cross-country loops. Fit a 2.4" tyre, take the day, and enjoy how little bike you need out there.
Fewer bearings to kill
Year-round humidity, mud and pressure-washing are hard on suspension pivots. A hardtail sidesteps most of that — and the sealed internal routing and service window make what maintenance there is quick.
Regional XC & marathon
The Malaysian and regional XC calendar is within easy reach, and marathon events reward exactly the efficiency a light hardtail is built around.
