COLLECTOR'S ITEM — CANNONDALE HERITAGE
Shop display piece
The Ironman series was Cannondale's dedicated triathlon and time-trial line. The Ironman 800 was built on the CAAD5 aluminium platform and, like Cannondale's road frames of the era, was handmade in the USA.
The frame uses aero-profiled T6 heat-treated aluminium for a stiff, aerodynamic front end, paired with an aero carbon Slice Si fork. This example is a near-mint shop display piece with only a few very minor scratches and was never built into a complete bike.
