The Original Slice. The name Six13 is pure chemistry: 6 is the atomic number of carbon, 13 that of aluminium. Cannondale bonded shaped carbon-fibre main tubes into welded aluminium lug clusters over a full aluminium rear triangle — a hybrid frame that is stiffer through the bottom bracket than an all-carbon equivalent while smoothing out the road.
The Slice is the aero time-trial and triathlon expression of that platform: a wing-shaped "Speed Shadow" seat tube, a bladed down tube and an all-carbon aero fork with carbon dropouts, wrapped around steep triathlon geometry that drops the rider into a fast, powerful position. One of the last handmade-in-USA Cannondales — a genuine piece of the brand's heritage.
